I]n a battle of the brands, an Orlando Christian organization is suing a Nashville megachurch over the use of the words “Mighty Men.”
Orlando’s Mighty Men of God Inc. contends the World Outreach Church of Murfreesboro has usurped its “Mighty Men” trademark with its Mighty Men Conferences that draw tens of thousands of participants.
The Orlando Mighty Men’s attorney is casting the lawsuit as David v. Goliath: World Outreach Church has 8,000 members. Mighty Men of God has no members — just a post-office box.
