Jake Paglialonga

Mr. Paglialonga’s legal practice focuses on real estate, commercial transactions, community housing law, land use, and business planning. As an associate attorney at Byrd Campbell, Mr. Paglialonga represents national and local clients in connection with the acquisition, financing, development, leasing, and disposition of commercial and residential real estate throughout the United States. Mr. Paglialonga has distinct expertise in assisting clients throughout the planning and legal formation of condominium/HOA developments.

While receiving his Juris Doctorate from Florida State University College of Law, Mr. Paglialonga was awarded the Peter M. Dunbar Book Award in Condominium & Community Housing Law and the Fred E. Karlinsky Book Award in Law & Risk Management. Mr. Paglialonga is also one of the youngest contributing authors in the history of the Thomson Reuters Real Estate Review Journal with his article, David and Goliath, Alternative Dispute Resolution in Florida Condominium Communities (Summer 2019).

Before joining Byrd Campbell, Mr. Paglialonga served as the attorney for the Florida Senate’s Committee on Community of Affairs, where he advised state delegates and drafted/oversaw legislation in the areas of county/municipal/special district law, community planning, land use, and community housing law. Mr. Paglialonga also practiced as a commercial litigator representing businesses in a wide range of legal disputes. This prior experience gives Mr. Paglialonga a comprehensive understanding of the legal pitfalls faced by clients and the solutions to overcome them.
