Two personalities who have made millions of dollars hawking Huggable Hangers and custom guitars on HSN have made the Pinellas County Circuit Court their new stage in a fight over publicity rights and product marketing.

DNA Music Enterprises Inc. and DreamBox Records Inc., two Nevada companies that represent Stephen Paul under his stage name of Esteban, filed a complaint

June 23 against HSN LP, HSN Inc., Ingenious Designs LLC and its president, HSN personality Joy Mangano, accusing them of tortious interference and commercial misappropriation. DNA and DreamBox say Mangano has vigorously tried to stop Paul from expanding his reach of album and guitar sales beyond the $3 billion Clearwater cable channel, threatening to remove him from HSN’s airwaves.
