Daphne Tako

Daphne Blum Tako concentrates her legal practice on commercial real estate transactions throughout the United States, representing real estate developers, hoteliers, landlords, and investors in all aspects of real property development, land use, title, finance, acquisition and disposition, and closings.

Daphne represents clients on a variety of commercial real estate matters including development agreements, title and survey review and curative work, commercial leasing, contract drafting and negotiation, due diligence, and land use for mixed-use, hotel, raw land, RV park and single-tenant net lease properties.

Prior to Byrd Campbell, Daphne represented investors, private lenders, and the Nation’s top financial institutions in creditor’s rights actions throughout Florida. She managed teams of associates, drafted court pleadings and discovery, and attended hearings, trials, and civil mediations statewide.

She founded Biscayne Law Firm, P.A. in 2014 focusing on Florida residential real estate closings, and served as General Counsel for a real estate investment group, where she managed their litigation portfolio, negotiated global settlements, represented their interests in Quiet title, Eviction, Homeowner Association, and Reforeclosure actions, and drafted a variety of transactional and corporate documents. Daphne is also a licensed agent with Old Republic National Title Insurance Company.

Daphne was admitted to practice in 2008 graduating Cum Laude and earning two Book Awards in Property and Real Estate Finance as well as a Dean’s recognition scholarship.
